okay so we have decided to start blogging- yes there'll be posts on our inspirations,fashion,beauty,style,basically anything random! so you guys gotta watch this space besides our sales item :)
Anyhows, we went to check out the thrift store at SCWO yesterday.We had problems finding the place initially, because it's pretty secluded and being understandably directionless people, we had to bear long walks. But the place was actually easy, it's just along the Waterloo street which is about 5-10 mins walk from Bugis village.
We spotted the SCWO sign and were greeted with "New2u Thrift Store" inside. It's a small & compact shop but there a whole lot of clothes but small selection of bag & shoes. There were other stuffs like books,toys & home deco but quite limited.
Upon arriving, we wasted no time and searched high & low for a good bargain. As stated on the name of the store, some of the items are recent items from mango,zara at dirt cheap price. We saw a mango blazer going at $6 but it was a little tight for us so we decided to let it go. There was this elegant vintage dress with a cute bow.
we went on searching on the shoe collection, nothing that we can fit in with our enormous feet- i saw a bally pumps going for less than 20 i think. tats like super thrifted high-end shoes.
okay moving on, in the store itself were more clothes. we spotted this pink& green ZARA blazer going for 16 bucks. it was our favourite colour combination- perfect! but then again, we don't see the need for one so we decided to let it go reluctantly. 
we saw this super cute prints on a dress. it's reminded us of green groblins with its pot of gold. what do you call them? yes, a leprechaun. it could be tacky in an outfit but we just love the gawdy prints.
the dark clouds and rain cleared outside when we were done thrifting. We would rate this place 3.5 stars for its abundance in clothes plus the great condition they're in. Thumbs up for occasional branded goods like mng,zara selling at dirt cheap prices :)

take an mrt to bugis station and walk straight from bugis village along Queen& Bencoolen Street. You would see a chinese temple along the way. The store is further straight up on the Waterloo Street .
